Travis Scott McDonald’s Action Figure On The Market For $55K

Travis Scott pandemonium ensued in September when McDonald’s unleashed his signature meal and an entire merch line dedicated to the collaboration. And some of that merch is fetching serious money.

StockX, an online marketplace and reseller of sneakers, clothing and more, has a Scott action figure on sale for $55,000. The current asking price was set by a seller who has it in their possession but wants to make a few dollars. According to a tweet from McDonald’s in September, the figurine is “rare, handcrafted and numbered.”

The figure, which comes in a square, plastic protective casing, is a tiny replica of the Astroworld rapper holding his signature McDonald’s meal — a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, lettuce, fries with BBQ sauce to dip and a Sprite. Unsurprisingly, the toy has been on the website since September 25 presumably because of its astronomical sales tag.

Travis Scott Fans Have Been Going Apeshit At McDonald's

Scott and McDonald’s officially announced the partnership on September 8. Last month, The Wall Street Journal confirmed the international food chain saw sales rise 4.6 percent in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the same timeframe last year. The rise followed a second quarter where McDonald’s saw a nine percent decrease in sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The $6 meal is no longer available for purchase as of October 6. 1. They can ask whatever they want. But the value of a collectible is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. When you see something sitting on e-bay with a “buy it now” option, that means nobody is buying it.
