Benny The Butcher and Hit-Boy‘s collaborative album Burden of Proof just got a little more exciting thanks to confirmation of a Lil Wayne appearance.
On Tuesday (September 29), the Griselda rapper took to Instagram to preview a new song that features Weezy. Benny’s caption also addressed the fact the song had already leaked, which is possibly why he posted a snippet in the first place.
“You prolly heard Me and Wayne got heat out here #BURDENOFPROOF,” he wrote.
The track leaked as “Live Forever,” but there’s no confirmation on whether that will be the official title. In the 15-second clip, Benny previews the end of Wayne’s verse and part of the chorus.

“I’m higher than everyone but almighty/I treat the white girl like a wifey/Treat her like Aphrodite/Let a goddess satisfy me while I’m rollin’ the tighty/I chop the hands off a clock, that mean I’m timeless, don’t time me/I’m forever,” Wayne raps.
This isn’t the first time Benny and Weezy have collaborated this year. In May, Benny featured on “Russian Roulette,” a song from the deluxe version of Wayne’s Funeral album, alongside fellow Griselda Records rapper Conway The Machine.
Hit-Boy also posted the video confirming he’s on the beat, while proclaiming Wayne is rapping like he was on his 2005 album.
“Benny and wayne on a Hit-Boy beat 2020,” he said. “Wayne on some carter 2 wave #BurdenOfProof next month.”

Burden of Proof is set to be released in October, with Hit-Boy producing every song on the project.
“I did the whole album,” Hit told Apple Music’s Ebro Darden. “I got a couple co-producers, just homies I be cooking beats with. We chopped up some shit live. I did every beat on the album.”
Speaking on its completion last week, he said, “We getting there. I’m finishing the last of the mixes. We was able to bring [Young] Guru in … It’s just different levels, man. We trying to make sure it’s all the way there.”
Wayne is fresh off releasing the deluxe version of 2018’s Tha Carter V on Friday (September 25), with features from 2 Chainz and Raekwon.
