Dr. Dre and Nicole Young are currently embroiled in a contentious divorce after 24 years of marriage. The fight over his $1 billion fortune seems to consistently intensify as the proceedings drag on. Last week, Young reportedly claimed co-ownership over Dre’s debut album The Chronic and the Dr. Dre name, which caught the attention of 50 Cent.
In an Instagram post shared on Sunday (September 20), the Power mogul included a screenshot that read “Dr. Dre’s Estranged Wife Claims She Co-Owns The Name ‘Dr. Dre'” and insinuated Young is essentially being greedy if not unreasonable. He also plugged his recent book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smart, as if to suggest Dre needs some help in that arena.
“entitlement is a mother fucker,” he captioned the post. “Hustle harder hustle smarter where all books are sold.”
Fiddy has been vocal about his disgust over the Young and Dre divorce. Earlier this month, he expressed pure shock after learning Young had requested almost $2 million a month in temporary spousal support.

“these bitches be crazy,” he captioned a photo of the couple. “how do you even ask for 2 million a month.”
Young filed for divorce in June, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Both parties have accused the other of practicing shady business dealings. Young’s legal team claims Dre is hiding valuable assets from Young, while Young was just accused of pilfering over $300,000 from Record One recording studios, a company co-founded by Young and Dre in 2015.
Young’s attorney Bryan Freedman, however, says it’s all a publicity stunt to take the spotlight off Dre.
“This is just a low-grade PR stunt by Andre [Dre] and his team to try to change the fact that he was caught red-handed and sued for trying to cheat Nicole out of community property to which she is entitled,” he told TMZ. “There is no question that Nicole had both the contractual and the legal right to have taken this action and Andre’s team is well aware of this fact. Any suggestion she did something untoward is preposterous and pathetic.”
