As of August 14, “WAP” has amassed just under 90 million views. The track is projected to debut at No. 1 on the next Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Although Cardi and Megan’s collaboration is doing huge numbers in term of streams and viewership, it’s also faced criticism for its sexually-charged content. CeeLo Green said the “WAP” duo and Nicki Minaj were desperate for attention but later apologized for his comments.
