As Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B fans continue to celebrate their new “WAP” collaboration, Megan is getting some things off her chest.

During a recent Instagram Live session, the statuesque rapper spoke about the aftermath of last month’s shooting incident involving Tory Lanez. At one point, she confessed she felt blindsided by the lack of support she received.

“I felt like, really crazy,” she began. “I felt like, why did I get shot? What did I do? It was insane. The shit was crazy. And I feel like, some people think that it’s funny, and I feel like some people think that it’s a joke, and I feel like some people think that they’re saying it to get to me.

“But, I’m not ashamed of who I am, I’m not ashamed of what I’ve been through and I’m not scared to say anything about anything. It’s not fun, bitch. I don’t understand. I just felt very betrayed by a friend. I felt very betrayed by all my friends. I felt very shocked. I felt very scared.”

While police have yet to determine who shot Megan in both of her feet, Lanez was arrested shortly after the incident on felony possession of a concealed weapon. He was booked into L.A. County Jail while Meg was taken to a local hospital to have surgery to remove the bullets. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department is investigation Lanez’s possible involvement.

In the wake of the shooting, Meg tearfully explained via Instagram how it was the “worst experience of her life” and that it took some time to gather her thoughts on what happened.

“It’s not that I was protecting anybody, I just wasn’t ready to speak,” she said. “That’s no shit I immediately need to get on the internet and start talking about. And that’s a lot of y’all’s muthafuckin’ problem; you take your whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a fucking diary. That’s not me.

“And thank god that the bullets didn’t touch bones. They didn’t break tendons. Like I know my mama and my daddy and my grandmama had to be looking out for me with that one ’cause where the bullets hit at, they missed everything. But those muthafuckas were in there.”
