A$AP Rocky, Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa are getting to the bag under quarantine…but they’re doing so safely!
In a series of posts from the studio on Sunday night (August 2), the three artists were working on music together with their face coverings on hand. While Juicy kept his on the entire time, Wiz’s bandanna eventually made its way atop his head – but hey, A for effort.
According to Juicy’s post, he held down beat duties while Wiz and Rocky rapped. The session follows the release of Juicy’s new single “Gah Dmn High” on Friday (July 30), which features his fellow Taylor Gang member Wiz and production by Lex Luger. In an Instagram post, Juicy referred to the song as his “first independent single,” revealing he’s not out of his longtime contract with Columbia Records.
Last month, the Three 6 Mafia OG made headlines when he suggested a battle between himself and Nas for the next Verzuz. This followed his previous suggestion a week earlier that he go up against Dr. Dre.

The responses to Juicy going up against Nas were a mixed bag, though many did note the Memphis artist could potentially best Nas with hit singles (as opposed to lyricism, which was unanimously accepted would go to Nas). In the end neither Nas or Dre replied, however.
The next scheduled Verzuz battle goes down between Rick Ross and 2 Chainz Thursday (August 6) at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Apple Music and the Verzuz Instagram page.
