Juice Wrld’s Legends Never Die title rang true as his posthumous album dominated the latest Billboard charts. The late artist’s LP reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and scored 17 entries on the Hot 100 in its first week.

Legends Never Die sold roughly 497,000 album equivalent units in the U.S. during the week ending July 16, which is the largest weekly total of 2020. The deceased rapper’s LP outperformed the previous high mark of 444,000 units set by The Weeknd’s After Hours.

Juice earned the second No. 1 album of his career thanks to massive streaming numbers, racking up 422.63 million on-demand streams. That total gave Legends Never Die the biggest streaming week of the year and the fourth-biggest in history.

Although Juice was able to claim the top spot on the Billboard 200, he was unable to dethrone DaBaby’s Roddy Ricch-assisted hit “Rockstar” from its entrenched position at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The collaborative single secured its sixth week atop the chart by holding off Juice’s “Come & Go” featuring Marshmello, which settled for No. 2.

“Come & Go” came up just shy of giving Juice two No. 1’s in the same week, but the Legends Never Die album still allowed him to capture an array of entries on the Hot 100.
