Killer Mike & El-P Release ‘RTJ4’ Album Stream & Download Early Because, Of Course

Two days ahead of its previously released date for free download and across all digital platforms, Run The Jewels’ Killer Mike and El-P see no reason to let the climate go any longer with their new album, RTJ4.

And thus, the project has been unveiled early.

“Fuck it, why wait?” the duo asks in a joint statement. “The world is infested with bullshit so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there and thank you for giving 2 friends the chance to be heard and do what they love.

With sincere love and gratitude, Jaime and Mike.”

The album serves as the direct follow-up to 2016’s RTJ3 and features collaborations and contributions from Pharrell Williams, DJ Premier, 2 Chainz, Gangsta Boo, Zack de la Rocha, Mavis Staples, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and more.

The musical contents notwithstanding, fans — longtime or not — should understand where Mike and El-P stand regarding the nationwide turmoil engulfing the nation. Run The Jewels have provided a list of organizations on their official website that fight for racial equality in America.

    1. Hey Killer Mike! The trailer for triggered on Netflix from 2-3 years ago is still on YouTube and Netflix. Maybe rush to take that down. You know, the one where you said “Any American business not supporting black America needs to be burned down NOW?” LOL. I found the meme of you saying that, then recently crying begging people not to burn businesses in Atlanta (where you coincidentally own several shitty businesses). Kind of funny, right? I also like the way your career only took off when you linked up with a white guy. With all this racism and the white man being a gust in hip-hop, how did that happen? Idiot. Decent rapper though. RTJ is a dope group IMO.

      1. Hurt Whiteys Flock to Hip Hop and Black sites to vent like their opinion even matters LOL says:

Hurt Whitey take your soft emotional ass to Breitbart or Fox News or 8 Chan you fuckin weirdo lmaoo

      2. What a fucking lame. Idk if you actually think he’ll see this or your trying to get cool guy points, but neither is happing. You sound emotional.

    2. Fucking incredible album. They can do no wrong this streak of amazing albums is something you don’t see often. We need to appreciate this good shit, especially during these times. AOTY

    3. It’s a quality, well produced album. Not sure I am going to give it a ton of repeat listens though, I think I’m just a little burnt on the formula. Source: El-P fan since 1st CoFlow album. (yes I’m old)

    4. Love the album! They like to try different styles in each album. I think album’s 1 and 3 are the best. Album’s 2 and 4 are still bangaz.
