50 Cent Demands Justice For George Floyd

50 Cent is among the hundreds of celebrities speaking out about the death of 46-year-old black man George Floyd.

Floyd was pronounced dead at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis on Monday night (May 25) not long after white Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on Floyd’s neck for roughly four minutes.

Video of the incident shows Chauvin in the act as Floyd repeatedly says, “I can’t breathe.”

The Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter author shared a screenshot of the video to his Instagram account with Chauvin looking at the camera and his knee on Floyd’s neck.

He wrote in the caption, “if they don’t charge this fool with murder.”

50’s words echo the countless posts calling for justice on social media. Floyd is yet another name that’s been added to the long list of black men killed by white police officers. Although all four officers who were involved in the incident have been fired, Floyd’s family — among many others — want them charged with murder.

Ice Cube Calls White MN Cop Accused Of George Floyd's Death 'A Wolf In Wolves Clothing'

During an interview with CBS This Morning on Wednesday (May 27), Floyd’s brother Rodney said he didn’t think he was resisting arrest as police originally reported.

“You have eyes. I have eyes,” Rodney said. “You can see what you saw. And I saw, and the nation saw … and every black person saw, the same thing, because it don’t happen to nobody else.”

Recently released surveillance footage shows Floyd in the moments before his arrest and he appeared to be complying with the officer’s orders.

      1. Why do black people call each other kings and queens? You sound like a bunch of wishful thinking dipshits. Start living in reality and maybe all these deaths in your hoods would go down. You all are not royals, I doNt give a F what you claim. Kings don’t live like you do.

        1. I think he used the word king because the deceased is of the lineage of people that created mathematics and also the stop light, gas mask and a ton of other things whites wish they did ??oh boy it makes you furious that any black person would think highly of themselves doesn’t it? You pretend to be aloof and superior when you ask that question. You pose as confident but check this out, intelligent black people like myself were taught more about your type than you think. So it’s very easy to call out your weak ass deflection and attribute it to what it is, fear and mediocrity. Try that shit on someone you can fool. You’re weak. And you can’t define for us who the kings and queens are in OUR community. Go suck Ted Nugent’s mongrel weenie coward

    1. The majority of the cacausian race is SICK and incompassionate outside of anybody but dogs says:

Average white man thinking: He did something wrong, should’ve just obeyed the cops orders

      1. That’s not true at all. Do u understand that you are the very racist u think you hate? You literally just generalized the thoughts of 175 million plus Americans. You are no better than any racist out there. You make blind judgments of people due to skin color too.

        1. that’s true. There is a lot of racism directed towards white people but its never taken seriously because *chuckles* slavery. Go and run a farm in Zimbabwe as a white guy and see how that works out for you.

    2. Kill em because they make noise today tomorrow they move on to another.

America land of the free! As long as your skin is not black.

      1. As long as your skin is not black? Uh, #1 killer of black people = black people. Black on black crime far outweighs white on black crime. In fact, black on white crimes actually outweighs white on black crime, despite whites being 4x the population of blacks. So your narrative is bogus. We are all free. Look at crime stats, and you’ll learn a lot about demographics in USA.

        1. 85% of all violent crimes are committed by people of the same race, according to the FBI. It also states that 65% of all racially motivated attacks. Are comitted by WHITES. Once again, from the FBI database. You attempt to hide behind stats to justify your racism, because you assume no one will actually check. You’re a bigot, and you’re full of shit…

    3. everybody only has to know about this there is an agenda behind this people should not be hurt or be killed regardless of who they are but try telling that to democrats.

      1. Yup. I’m sick of liberals pointing the finger at us conservatives, acting as if we condone shit like this. We don’t. That’s why Trump already had a federal investigation launched into it. We aren’t okay with police brutality or murder. With that said, I find it a bit ridiculous how white on black crime is specifically covered in the media to cause racial divide in USA, and black on white crime is purposely ignored. It just seems wrong to do that. The black man hunted down by the two white men for being in the home being built received nationwide coverage. The white elderly couple gunned down while visiting their deceased son at the cemetery received ZERO national coverage. Both scenarios had innocent people gunned down for no reason. The black man was perhaps wrong for being in the home, but obviously didn’t deserve that one bit, and the elderly white couple had not done a single thing wrong. The reason the media covers one and not the other is to piss people off, and create more of a divide. White people get upset when black on white isn’t covered, but white on black is. White on black crime upsets black people because they see a lot of issues in their communities, with young deaths due to murder at the forefront. Then, black in black crime, which far outweighs white on black crime, is very seldom covered in the media…. It’s as if nobody actually cares. Very sad.

        1. I agree 100%, but it’ll will never change so I just don’t give a fuck anymore. I only care about me and mine now. Fuck everybody else and their problems. Just gonna sit back and watch the world burn.

        2. This issue is not about Black on white citizens or vice versa…neither get much promo. This particular incident is not about violence in general (domestic violence, armed robbery, battery, sexual assault, child abuse etc.) This is about armed policemen vs. unarmed people of color. This strikes a nerve because policemen have taken a vow to protect and serve American citizens. How was this action (9mins. on his neck) in line with his duty? Stop making excuses…

      1. As an officer of the law myself, and an avid hiphop head, please do not take the actions of very few bad cops represent your entire view on all of us. I have never treated any human being this way, and never will. I stand for our constitution and civil rights, and so do all of my brothers and sisters on duty. As the other comment has said, by hating all cops for the actions of few, you are no better than a racist cop hurting an innocent person yourself. You are the same exact form of misguided, racist, illogical judgment. Do not judge any human being for another human beings actions. Would you like be the guy who has to bust into Meth houses at 4am, get into a shootout with drugged up Gnagsters, while focusing on saving a child who is dying from an overdose? Well, I’ve done that, and been in multiple scenarios like this. I have saved DOZENS of people’s lives in the past 5 years, and I have not harmed a single person. You should spend a day in my shoes, and perhaps you understand that 95%+ of us are truly helping keep our communities safe for the working men and woman of our country. Imagine if all authorities decided to leave SOUTH CENTRAL LA. What do you think would happen? You think you hate authority, but in reality, hoodrat gangsters would take over, like the cartel has in Mexico, which is why Mexicans want to be in USA. Mexico would be a great country if not for gangsters running the show. Trust me, you don’t want to live in a place where authorities have no power, and the Gnagsters run shit. You think you do, but you are truly ignorant.

        1. All u so called good cops know who the bad ones are and dont report them or bring them to justice for accountability….so what does that make you????…. if u a good cop, let us all know who the bad ones are… same goes for white ppl who say they arent racist. U know who the racist white ppl are in your families and communites… turn their information over and expose them

        2. I appreciate a real law officer speaking up in these comment sections every now and then. Everyone just acts on cue whenever the media runs a story like this one. Everyone gets mad at what they’re told to be mad at. It’s a joke. People need to start making their neighborhoods better and demanding better representation. Get rid of all the race pimps like Maxine Waters, the Squad, Heels Up Harris, etc. The cops patrolling are not the enemy; it is the ones voted in most of the time who are the snakes. Term limits are definitely needed. People want to glorify gang life and cartel life but when it becomes a reality who do they come running to first? Lol the police.

    4. When will black people realize they are the Majority in this country . Whites aren’t the Majority in Europe anymore .

      1. On earth, yes… And in Europe, some countries, yes. But in usa, not yet. I believe they say Hispanics will outnumber whites in usa soon enough. I’m cool with that, most Hispanics I know loves their guns, freedom, ect… So I’m down with that.

    5. Don’t worry, there will be. Trump already had the feds launching a quick investigation. The cop who used too much force will more than likely be prosecuted, as he should. As freedom loving Americans, we are all in this together. This shouldn’t be blamed on cops as a whole, but should shed light on BAD COPS. We all want justice, and violence like this cannot be tolerated.

    6. Hear me out, and check this knowledge... We are ONE. We are brothers and sisters of the human race! says:

I fully agree the cop seems to have been wrong and giving way too much force, based off what I’ve seen so far. With that said, if there is no more to the case, he’s deserves to be prosecuted. Next, I hate to see all of these prominent celebrities and figure heads hating on all cops, and acting as if they are all to blame. These celebrities are saying how messed up it is that people make racist blanket statements about black people, then go and do the same exact thing about cops or white people, especially conservatives, as Ice Cube shared a FAKE pic of the cop in question in a “Make Whites Great Again Hat”. Anyone with a brain could tell it was not the cop, but Ice Cube doesn’t care about truth, just forming a hateful narrative. Fact is, 90%+ of ALL Americans agree this was wrong, and we are all on the same page about holding him accountable to the law. The protests last night targeted all of the other cops, throwing food, bottles, rocks, and more at them, while destroying their vehicles. Do you think these cops will in turn think to treat people better? Why punish the cops who had nothing to do with this? These kinds of actions are LITERALLY the same BS racism generalization crap that these protesters think they are agaisnt! They themselves are guilty of mistreating innocent people for no valid reason!!!

      1. you missing it completely. the reason all cops are being bashed behind the death of this man is because they are a unified force. 3 other police officers all sat there and watched that man die. far too many police officers have been silent behind the wrong doings of other officers and even defend and lie for them in court. so until the police do something about the corruption within their organization then they all should be held accountable. period

    7. the policemen involved here should stand trial, rightfully so, this was murder/manslaughter. Having said, lets be honest, if George Floyd had approached 50 on the street asking for 10 dollars, 50 would probably get him out of his face so fast and call him a bum. Lets stop caring only when someone is murdered like this. Some NBA dude was calling Floyd his twin, dude, just because he was killed. The virtue signaling is nauseating.

      1. Although George Floyd was residing in Minnesota when he died, he was originally from the Houston, Texas area. The NBA player you are referring to is Stephen Jackson. He too is from Port Arthur, Texas a suburb of Houston. HE REALLY KNEW HIM. They were close in REAL LIFE. I get your point overall. But if you’re gonna use an example, make sure you know your facts.

      2. Bro they knew each other. Stop with the hate right now. In Houston we have access to our artists and their affiliates and Floyd was well known around the city bro. Respect for the dead bro. Stephen Jackson wasn’t faking the funk bro.

    8. If you really mean it, give his family US$ 50k. These celebrities are just virtue signaling, no way 50 would give this guy a G-Unit tshirt if she rolled up to him, he would probably call him a bum.

      1. Money doesn’t equate to justice, dummy. For 50 G’s can I kill one of your family members?

      2. how can you or anyone else speak on what someone else would do that you don’t even know in real life ? you’re no better than the celebrities that you claim to be virtue signaling. Oh and Stephen Jax DID know George Floyd, that was his close friend. And he DID send George Floyd and his family aid assistance when they needed him prior to this. So really just STFU
