Young Dolph is giving his 3.9 million Instagram followers little to be desired after he wiped his account clean. The move comes shortly after he discussed walking away from his consistently lucrative — yet at times challenging — music career.

On Sunday (March 1), Dolph confessed he was feeling torn about his future via Instagram and indicated he’d rather spend time with his children.

“Highly considering quitting music because I wanna be with my kids 24/7,” he wrote alongside a shrug emoji.

He added, “Yall niggas never touched a vacuum sealer until your rap career took off, just to look cool. Y’all niggas ass backwards,” which was coupled with a clown emoji.

Dolph’s latest project, Dum and Dummer with Key Glock, was released last July and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, his highest-charting album to date. But despite his recent success, the Memphis-bred rapper has weathered plenty of storms over the years.

In 2017, Dolph landed at a Los Angeles hospital in critical condition after being shot multiple times in broad daylight at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland, a busy tourist district near the famous TCL Chinese Theatre.

Yo Gotti affiliate Corey McClendon was arrested on an attempted murder charge but was released without charges. Although that chapter in Dolph’s life is behind him, he fired off a few insults at Gotti via Instagram last month.
