Trippie Redd Earns 1st Billboard No. 1 Album With ‘A Love Letter To You 4’

    Trippie Redd secured the No. 1 album in the country for the first time in his career. The TenThousand Projects artist’s latest release A Love Letter To You 4 debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart dated December 7.

    “Wow thank u god,” Redd wrote via Instagram in reaction to his Billboard accomplishment.

    Redd earned his first No. 1 by selling just under 104,000 album-equivalent units for the week, according to Billboard. A Love Letter To You 4 achieved most of its success via streaming, racking up 125.9 million on-demand audio streams in its initial week.

    Prior to A Love Letter To You 4, Redd’s Billboard 200 peak was No. 3. He reached that position twice in his career: first with A Love Letter to You 3 in November 2018 and most recently with his sophomore album ! in August 2019.

    The fourth volume of Redd’s A Love Letter To You series was released on November 22. The 21-track LP featured collaborations with DaBaby, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Juice WRLD, YNW Melly, Lil Yachty and Pi’erre Bourne, among others.

      1. Sounds like generic junk to me, but hey, it all comes down to personal tastes. I’m more into Emcees I guess though, so you can’t compare emcees to what modern rap music is in general.
