Ludacris is returning to his old college stomping grounds. The multi-platinum selling artist has joined Georgia State University’s Creative Media Industries Institute as an artist-in-residence for the fall semester.
The Fast & The Furious franchise star, whose real name is Chris Bridges, attended Georgia State in the late ’90s. As part of his new gig, the veteran rapper/actor will work with CMII professors and mentor students.
“Chris is an incredibly talented artist and has so much industry knowledge to share,” CMII executive director Brennen Dicker said in a press release. “We are excited to see how our students, and really the entire institute, will benefit from this great new partnership.”
Luda added, “Georgia State is one of the most innovative and diverse universities in the country. I couldn’t imagine a better place to work with students than CMII.”
