Las Vegas, NV

Fetty Wap has reportedly received a battery charge stemming from an altercation he got into last month in Las Vegas. According to TMZ, the “My Way” creator was officially charged with one misdemeanor for punching a security guard outside of The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

The 300 Entertainment artist was arrested in September for the incident, which allegedly started over a dispute with a valet driver. Police said Fetty ended up striking three members of security attempting to stop the confrontation. He was initially charged with three counts of battery, but court documents obtained by TMZ revealed he’s only facing one count from the Vegas scuffle.

Video of the melee has surfaced online and shows Fetty clearly landing two punches thrown at security personnel.

Fetty Wap’s Labor Day weekend was reportedly interrupted by a pair of handcuffs. According to TMZ, law enforcement arrested the New Jersey-born rapper at The Mirage in Las Vegas on Sunday (September 1) after he allegedly got into a physical altercation with one of the valet drivers.

Another Mirage employee made a citizen’s arrest and held Fetty until Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers arrived. Consequently, he was booked for three counts of misdemeanor battery — one for each punch he allegedly landed on the valet driver.

Fetty was released a few hours after his arrest, he’ll be expected in a Las Vegas courtroom soon.

The 28-year-old was recently accused of manhandling a woman he’d just met at a Hollywood video shoot. The accuser filed a police report outlining what allegedly happened at a Hollywood Hills home.
