Westside Gunn and Benny The Butcher have become members of the Roc Nation family. The Griselda Records artists have revealed they signed management deals with JAY-Z’s entertainment company.
“Roc Nation & Griselda it’s official … y’all kno what we bout to do right Roc Nation x GxFR x B$F,” Benny wrote on Instagram.
Westside added, “The New King Of NY!!!! We just some BUFFALO KIDS that had a dream I wanna introduce y’all to the new @rocnation I told y’all GOD IS THE GREATEST.”
Chace Infinite, a member of the duo Self Scientific with DJ Khalil, also commented on the signing. Infinite and Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua will manage Westside and Benny under a partnership with Roc Nation.

The announcement of Westside and Benny’s Roc Nation deal continues a busy summer for the Buffalo-bred MCs. In June, Benny dropped a new EP titled The Plugs I Met. A few weeks later, Westside kicked off July by releasing a solo album titled Flygod Is An Awesome God.

The Griselda crew is also expected to deliver their official Shady Records debut later this year. Westside has said the project will be a group album.
Last month, fans got a taste of the Griselda and Shady connection when Conway The Machine dropped his single “Bang” featuring Eminem.
