Minneapolis, MN – R. Kelly has reportedly been hit with two additional sex crimes. According to TMZ, the charges were filed in Minnesota after prosecutors accused the embattled R&B singer of paying a young girl to have sex with him over 18 years ago.

The alleged incident went down on July 11, 2001 in Minneapolis with a then-teenage girl who was between the ages of 16 and 17.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman says the alleged victim wanted an autograph from Kelly, who then paid her $200 to take her clothes off and engage in various sex acts with him.

Kelly is being charged with engaging in prostitution with someone under 18 and hiring/offering/agreeing to hire someone for sexual contact.

The 52-year-old music vet is currently behind bars in a New York City jail after a judge denied his bail. He faces multiple charges, including sex trafficking, in the state of New York as well as various charges in his homestate of Illinois.

Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg, calls the latest charges “absurd.”
