The social media saga of 50 Cent collecting debts continues. Director Eif Rivera is the latest debtor to pay up under public pressure, but he needed help from Fat Joe to do it.

The collection process began Monday (July 15) when 50 declared Rivera owed money via Instagram and tagged Fat Joe in the process.

“This guy owes me money @fatjoe and it’s Monday,” the G-Unit boss wrote. “Director EiF Rivera, I have eyes and ears every where. #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac.”

Joe commented, “I just loaned him the money to pay you now he owes both of us.”

Rivera, who has directed videos for Hip Hop stars such as Cardi B and DJ Khaled, said he paid the debt in his own Instagram post. But as Joe noted, the director now owes the Terror Squad founder money.

“I just want the world to know that this character Kanan which @50cent plays in Power is not at all a far fetch of who he is in real life,” he wrote. “I borrowed some money for a short film and it was the best and worst move ever. Unfortunately I didn’t pay him his money fast enough and I am now a victim of Fofty. Luckily @fatjoe paid my debt but now I owe him. Smh.”

Rivera joins a growing list of people in the entertainment industry who’ve been put on blast by 50 for their alleged debts. Biz Markie, Power actor Rotimi and boxer Adrien Broner are among the other notable names to face the G-Unit leader’s scrutiny in recent months.

While 50 has been successful at collecting many of the debts, he’s struggled to get Teairra Mari to fork over the $30,618 she was ordered to pay him by a Los Angeles judge.
