Chicago, IL – As part of the federal investigation into R. Kelly, authorities have reportedly uncovered more than a dozen video tapes of the disgraced R&B singer having sex with underage girls.

TMZ reports Gerald Griggs, who represents the family of alleged victim Joycelyn Savage, said the federal investigation run by the Northern District of Illinois have unearthed over 20 videos of Kelly having sexual contact with minors.

With the help of multiple witnesses, prosecutors have confirmed they were all underage.

Griggs says several of Kelly’s enablers from over the years turned on the platinum-selling artist and handed over the tapes to investigators. Those videos led to indictments for multiple sex crimes, including child pornography.

Last month, it was revealed an ex-employee testified Kelly “regularly recorded” his sexual encounters with underage girls.

Kelly was arrested while walking his dog in Chicago on Thursday (July 11).

He’s also facing a separate five-count federal indictment from the Eastern District of New York, which includes racketeering and four violations of the Mann Act. Brooklyn prosecutors hope to keep Kelly behind bars until his trial.

R. Kelly has reportedly been arrested in his hometown of Chicago. According to NBC 4 New York, the embattled R&B star was taken into custody on Thursday (July 11) by NYPD detectives and Homeland Security Investigation agents on federal sex crime charges, including sex trafficking.

More details on the case are expected to be revealed on Friday (July 12).

In February, Kelly was charged with aggravated sexual abuse involving four women. Three of those women were minors at the time of the alleged abuse.

The multiplatinum-selling artist pleaded not guilty and was released from Chicago’s Cook County Jail after posting bail.

The spotlight started to shine heavily on Kelly following the release of Lifetime’s docu-series Surviving R. Kelly.

In March, Kelly sat down with CBS This Morning for what turned into an explosive interview with host Gayle King. Throughout their conversation, Kelly maintained his innocence across the board.
