50 Cent proclaimed the STARZ Network’s hit show Power was going to end with Season 6 less than a month ago, but evidently he’s had a change of heart.
Fiddy — who co-created the show and serves as co-producer — let his 23.3 million Instagram followers the television series wasn’t going anywhere.
“Changed my mind,” he wrote on Tuesday (June 25). “POWER is not going to be over after season 6. This shit is to good.”
Power debuted in 2014 and has run for five seasons. The upcoming 15-episode sixth season will feature 50’s directorial debut and also see the return of Emmy Award-winning director Anthony Hemingway, who directed the show’s first two episodes.

Set and filmed in New York City, Power revolves around James St. Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick), a drug-dealer who goes by “Ghost.” He wants to leave the criminal world and pursue a legitimate business endeavor as a nightclub owner.
As his marriage falls apart, James attempts to juggle both lives, while eluding police capture.
50 plays his rival, Kanan Stark.
Season 6 is expected to premiere at Madison Square Garden on August 20.
