London, England

Tyler The Creator’s return to England didn’t go as planned. A surprise show in London had to be canceled after a rowdy crowd forced police to shut it down over safety concerns.

The Odd Future founder attempted to stage an event at the Bussey Building in London’s Peckham neighborhood. The impromptu concert would’ve been Tyler’s first performance in the United Kingdom since he was banned from the country in 2015.

“Too rowdy, cops cancelled it, go home, i tried, the gate climbing nail in the coffin, they go nervous, too bad was a cool idea,” Tyler wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Although Tyler couldn’t perform as he intended, he did share his excitement over the fan response and promised to deliver a show in London in the future.
