Birdman is denying Tyga‘s claim that Cash Money Records owes him $10 million dollars, The Blast reports.

In fact, Baby says T-Raww actually owes the label money from disbursed album advances.

According to legal documents from the suit, Cash Money shared accounting statements with the “Taste” hitmaker back in November. Tyga and his legal team are reportedly still examining the materials.

The former Cash Money artist filed suit against CMB in 2018 for allegedly holding back royalties for 2012’s Careless World, which features his multi-platinum hit single “Rack City,” as well as his 2013 album Hotel California. Tyga alleges the royalties came to a halt after he reportedly bought himself out of his contract in 2016 and Lil Wayne was pretty upset about it.

“There are no royalties due and payable to Plaintiff under the referenced 2016 Release and Termination Agreement or otherwise,” docs obtained by The Blast read. “While revenue has been generated from the exploitation of Plaintiff’s recordings, Plaintiff was paid advances against royalties owed and numerous recoupable expenses have been incurred.

“As a result, Plaintiff’s royalty account is significantly unrecouped. Plaintiff has been provided access to a royalty accounting system and the data in that system reflects Plaintiff’s unrecouped status.”

In October, Birdman requested for more time to respond to Tyga’s suit in hopes of reaching a settlement but was reportedly unable to come to an agreement.

Cash Money is demanding Tyga’s lawsuit be tossed out and asks that he pays for their legal bills.
