Feds are continuing to build their case against Tekashi 6ix9ine who has been behind bars for roughly three weeks. According to TMZ, photos from the controversial rapper’s cell phone seem to place him at the scene of at least one armed robbery.
Federal prosecutors have reportedly filed documents that contain over a dozen incriminating photos of 6ix9ine, his ex-manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and other members of his entourage pulling armed robberies and shootings.
The photos come from the cell phones of 6ix9ine and other affiliates. When police compared them to surveillance video of an April 3 armed robbery in Brooklyn, they matched. They believe the images prove Shotti executed the robbery while 6ix9ine observed from the street and recorded the video. Prosecutors think 6ix9ine gave a screenshot from the video to a third party who was instructed to post it online.
Also included in the gallery are matching shots of a stolen backpack, which was discovered in 6ix9ine’s home during a raid in September. Authorities also discovered a AR-15 rifle.
Police also matched images of 6ix9ine from two Brooklyn shootings on April 21, including the one inside the Barclays Center. One of 6ix9ine’s ex-crew members, Fuguan “Fu Banga” Lovick, was named as the triggerman.

Prosecutors filed the new images as evidence 6ix9ine should be held without bail because they believe he’s a flight risk. They say he frequently takes “as much as $100,000 in a single [bank] withdrawal.”
In total, 6ix9ine and his crew are facing 17 different counts in their racketeering and weapons case. Three of those carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine’s attorney, maintains his client’s innocence.
“Daniel Hernandez is innocent and was never part of a criminal enterprise,” he said. “He should never have been indicted.” [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
