Lil Yachty & Former MLB Pitcher Travis Blackley Trade Twitter Insults

Lil Yachty’s halftime performance during this week’s edition of ESPN Monday Night Football led to an unlikely social media beef. Former MLB pitcher Travis Blackley criticized Lil Boat’s music via Twitter following the brief appearance on the NFL broadcast.

“Absolute trash! How does this even pass for talent!” Blackley wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “Nothing about this so called music is real! What’s ur voice actually sound like without Autotune? It can’t be any worse that this.”

Yachty discovered Blackley’s tweet and pulled no punches in response.

“That’s why u a free agent bitch,” Yachty fired back.

Blackley hasn’t pitched in the MLB since 2013. He was part of the Detroit Tigers organization last year but was signed to a minor league deal. He was released in April 2017.

    1. Get a beat, say random shit that don’t rhyme in auto tune… Boom! Famous rapper. Why even try anymore. Someone like KRS-1 should get up off his rocking chair and beat his ass for the culture. Ha ha! That’d be hella funny.

    2. I don’t get how people are angry at guys like Yachty for capatilizing on how basic African American culture has become? The sale unemployed people wearing Jordan’s and chains loitering on street corners all day created the platform for this guy to become a millionaire it’s not his fault the culture doesn’t want to adopt positive changes.

      1. That’s because you are choosing to not look at what real African American culture is. I could point to any one of 100 poor white trash and make the same blanket assessment of “white” culture. Watch your ass casting them stones…
