Vic Mensa called out the late XXXTENTACION for his alleged abuse of women during a 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher over the weekend and now, Trippie Redd wants to fight him. In a video posted to his Instagram Stories, the blinged out rapper says he wants Vic to meet him in Los Angeles.
“Tell Vic Mensa pull up,” he says. “Come pull up to L.A. We want to fight. Tell that nigga pull up. Dissing passed away people and shit. Lame ass dude.
“I was kinda fucking with dude, though. I like two of your songs. All the rest of them were trash, though. I truly realize why he ain’t really pop off and why he ain’t make it to the level he want to be at. Dude really trash, though.”
Vic apologized for his comments about X on Monday (October 8) and admitted he didn’t know X’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, was attending the annual awards ceremony,

“Recently, I did a freestyle for the BET [Hip Hop] Awards cypher addressing and condemning rappers who unabashedly abuse women and those who stand up for them and even call them legends,” Vic explained in a video. “I stand behind those statements. It was pre-recorded weeks ago, and I had no idea a grieving mother would be in the audience to honor her lost son.
“I never intended to disrespect her, and I offer my deepest condolences for her loss at the hands of gun violence.”
For now, people will have to wait to hear the cypher until Tuesday (October 16) when the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards air. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
