Tekashi 6ix9ine isn’t helping police with their investigation into his kidnapping and robbery, according to TMZ. The polarizing artist reportedly has refused to describe the jewelry that was stolen or estimate its value.

Law enforcement sources also claim 6ix9ine’s driver won’t fill out a stolen property form for an iPhone that was allegedly taken in the heist. The driver reportedly refuses to reveal if the phone’s tracking software has been activated.

6ix9ine’s girlfriend, who was allegedly ordered to bring his jewelry to the robbers, has stopped cooperating with police too, according to TMZ.

Although 6ix9ine and those close to him aren’t helping the cops, the rainbow color-haired rhymer hasn’t been shy about describing what happened. The “GUMMO” creator has shared details about the kidnapping and robbery in multiple interviews.

6ix9ine believes the theft was an inside job and refutes claims of it all being a publicity stunt.

“I wouldn’t want to set up a publicity stunt and lose close to a million dollars,” he recently told TMZ. “I guess I’m like the boy who called wolf ’cause I’ve trolled so much. When it’s actually real, people don’t believe it anymore.”
