Lauryn Hill is back to familiar antics. After disappointing fans at a recent Toronto show, the former Fugee has now reportedly canceled several other dates on The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour.
According to The Virginian-Pilot, Hill canceled her performance on August 16 in Virginia Beach as well as North Carolina concerts in Charlotte and Raleigh and St. Petersburg, Florida scheduled for this week. A Miami show, which was originally planned for July 31, was also postponed until October 15.
A statement from Live Nation cited “unforeseen production issues” as the reason for the cancellations.
Hill has a long history (which is getting longer by the day) of showing up late to her shows or canceling them altogether. Fans at the Toronto concert were left waiting for nearly an hour for Hill to show up. When she finally did turn up, she only performed a 45 minute set.
