Cardi B reportedly believes the Hip Hop cops targeted Offset, leading to his recent arrest and gun possession charges in Georgia.
A source close to Cardi told TMZ she believes her husband was targeted because he’s a rapper. The sentiment was also shared by the Migos rhymer’s lawyer, who says Offset was pulled over and subsequently arrested for being a rich and successful Hip Hop artist.
Cardi is also taking the ride-or-die route seriously, reportedly saying she’ll stick by Offset’s side even if he ends up going to prison on the charges.
Offset was arrested late last week just outside of Atlanta after allegedly crossing a double yellow line with his vehicle. Police say they found three guns, marijuana, and $107,000 in the Porsche the rapper was driving.

He has since been released on bail, but was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a weapon during a crime, possession of marijuana (one ounce or less), and an improper lane change.
Cardi reportedly said the guns weren’t Offset’s since he doesn’t own any.
Offset’s arrest came mere days after the birth of his daughter with Cardi, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
