Pharrell has taken over the reins of Spotify’s Black History Is Happening, a series created by the streaming platform in partnership with creative collective Saturday Morning.

The hit-making producer is curating volume two of the year-long platform, which highlights the work of black artists and creatives through music curation, video and podcasts.

Pharrell succeeds Janelle Monáe, who curated volume one earlier this year.

Skateboard P’s curated selections are live now on Spotify in the US, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Germany and Canada. The highlights include the work of black women, Pharrell’s inspirations and a showcase of his own work — including music from The Neptunes and N.E.R.D.

A series of video interviews with Pharrell are also available on YouTube. In the clips, the veteran producer details his perspective on black culture, politics and much more.
