YG was reportedly in a Las Vegas courtroom on Thursday (July 12) after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to TMZ, once he turned himself in to authorities, he was charged with felony robbery for allegedly stealing a man’s chain at the The Cosmopolitan Hotel and casino in May. He was released on $20,000 bail.
Vegas police say the incident went down after a fan approached the Compton-bred rapper for an autograph. YG reportedly began yelling profanities at the man and in return, the man hurled an insult back at him.
That’s when things escalated and YG allegedly snatched the man’s gold and diamond-laced chain from his neck and walked off with it. The chain is valued somewhere between $3,000 and $9,000. Video footage from the casino reportedly caught it all on tape.

YG is reportedly being sued for an alleged Las Vegas beatdown. According to TMZ, the Compton rapper was spotted by a fan at the Cosmopolitan Hotel last month when he was asked for a photo.
Rather than oblige, YG allegedly started cussing the fan out and it escalated into an altercation. The defendant says as he was walking away, YG told his entourage to “get him.” He also says YG snatched his gold chain and diamond-laced pendant.
