Danny Brown and YG have been cast in the upcoming film White Boy Rick starring Matthew McConaughey.

Shot in 1980s Detroit, the film is based on the true story of America’s youngest FBI informant-turned-coke dealer, Richard Wershe Jr.

McConaughey plays Wershe’s father, while Brown and YG’s roles have yet to be disclosed.

Def Jam Recordings’ CEO and Brown’s manager Paul Rosenberg shared a clip on Instagram that briefly show both rappers in the film.

TheAtrocity Exhibition rapper also shared the same clip of the film to his Instagram account earlier this week, which he captioned, “Hustler. Dealer. Kingpin, Informant. #whiteboyrickmovie – Based on the true story. Only in theaters this fall.”

The first trailer for White Boy Rick was released on Monday (June 4). It also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern and Atlantaactor Brian Tyree Henry.
