At this point, Rihanna is one of the most famous women in the world. Before the Barbadian queen launches her new lingerie line — Savage x Fenty — next week, RiRi was able to sit down with Vogue magazine while on a recent trip to Paris.
Rihanna, who turned 30 on February 20, first spoke on how she deals with her ever-changing body.
“You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly,” she said. “I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies. I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”
Then, the subject turned to relationships. The Fenty Beauty mastermind confessed to being in one, although she didn’t name the person. Last summer, rumors started to swirl she was dating Saudi businessman Hasaan Jameel after photos of her kissing him in Spain surfaced online.

When asked about Drake — who she was romantically linked to in the past — the Grammy Award-winning singer admitted his speech about her at the 2016 MTV VMAs (where she was the recipient of the Video Vanguard Award) made her squirm.
“Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part,” RiRi said. “I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”
She added, “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”[apple_news_ad type=”any”]
Over the past year, Rihanna learned another tough lesson in love but this time it involved a family member. Her 21-year-old cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, was shot and killed in Barbados on December 26, 2017, a day after they celebrated Christmas together.

“I really hugged my cousin the night before he died; I didn’t know why,” she said. “Now each time I hug somebody lately, I hug them like it’s the last time. That may be my biggest life lesson, not to wait on anything, not even tomorrow. Tomorrow is too late in my opinion.”
