Eminem Takes Control Of His Twitter Account

Eminem has 22.6 million followers on Twitter but only 751 tweets from his account, most of which are just promoting his music and merch. On Tuesday night (April 10), Slim Shady wanted to make it clear he’s now in control of his own profile. In a video clip he shared on Instagram, Em is seen sitting on a couch with a phone in his hand.

Someone walks in and asks, “What are you doing?” Em replies, “I’m on Twitter. I’m taking control of my own Twitter now.” The unidentified man in the clip (all that can be heard is his voice) sounds confused. “Ok?” he says.

The Revival MC followed up with a tweet as promised.

He wrote, “Everyone thinks i don’t write my own tweets but i wrote this one.”

Naturally, Em’s fans exploded with enthusiasm. The Instagram video has nearly 2 million views in less than 24 hours and his tweet has been liked more than 200,000 times.

Will the takeover bring us more clips like the one of Em “rehearsing” for Coachella?

    Time will tell.

    1. Who cares about this sellout feminist social justice warrior communist, his last album worth a listen was released in 2002.

    2. hay SLIM Shady I need one mic one chance to break the curse I had since birth uncle josh c-LIFE soundcloud one LUV free C-murda

    3. Just because Eminem sings more positively now doesn’t make him sucj, i love his new music and his old, and you’re never to old to make music! It’s not healthy for people to be that upset, stress poisons our bodies! If you think negative that’s what you attract to the universe. Whatever, ✌

      1. Of course not, its when your music sucks that makes you suck. And when you “were” one of the greatest and become mediocre its worse than it would be for an already mediocre artist. Everybody is so wrapped up in their own opinion now that they forget there’s a actual world out there where your opinion don’t mean shit. I think Em has been wack for damn near a decade now…guess what, it don’t mean shit. In my opinion the type of music Em is trying to do, G-Eazy (a drastically inferior MC) does it better. Em changed something he was good at to do something he’s not good at. It is what it is, Jordan was the GOAT in basketball, but he couldn’t hit a beach ball when he was playing baseball.

        1. G -Eazy? Are you serious? Gtfoh!! Yeah Em is not that good anymore, but bringing up a washed up G-Eazy? The worst Eminem songs are still better than anything of him believe me
