Tory Lanez has become fed up with people not showing him the respect he feels he deserves. During an appearance on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God referenced some comments made by Joe Budden and his podcast crew “asking if it’s quiet for Tory Lanez.” In response, Lanez went on to ask what artists can go head-to-head with him on the rapping and singing end.

“Quiet with me for what?” Lanez asked. “Which rapper that’s out right now that y’all feel like I need to go head-to-head with on a cypher? What singer is out right now that I need to write better records than? Like, who is it? Point me in the direction and let’s just do it. And I’ma show why I out-work that nigga and why I’m better than that nigga.”

Lanez was visibly frustrated, explaining why he’s tired of his talents being overlooked and underestimated.

“What artist you know can do I what I fucking do?” he asked. “I’m tired of niggas undermining that.”
