Matthew Fletcher, 53, and Thaddeus Culpepper, 44, two of Suge Knight’s former attorneys who represented him in his ongoing murder case, have been arrested. According to the Los Angeles Times, they’re being held on felony charges of acting as “accessories after the fact.” Fletcher’s bail is set at $1 million as stated on The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department website.
Culpepper is also being held on $1 million bail.
A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Nicole Nishida, declined to clarify whether the attorneys are accused in connection with Knight’s pending legal troubles, although it should be noted Culpepper’s inmate record says the agency that arrested him is the “LASD-HOMICIDE BUREAU HMP7.”
Last August, prosecutors alleged Fletcher and Culpepper, along with Knight and others, “tampered with witnesses and discussed bribes” in connection to his murder case, though both Fletcher and Culpepper denied the accusations.
Knight was arrested in January of 2015 and indicted on murder charges following a fatal hit-and-run at Tam’s Burgers near the 1200 block of West Rosecrans Avenue in Los Angeles. The former Death Row Records CEO struck and killed his friend Terry Carter and injured another man Cle “Bone” Sloan following a dispute on the set of the N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton.
Knight has pleaded not guilty and said he acted in self-defense.
Earlier this month, Knight accused prosecutors of eavesdropping on conversations between himself and his legal team. He subsequently filed a motion demanding all court orders be thrown out but his request was later denied.
Knight’s trial was scheduled to start on January 8, nearly three years after the incident took place, but according to the New York Daily News it’s been delayed yet again.

Flimsy case that any good lawyer could beat, the system is muddying the water by locking up two lawyers just watch and see these charges wont stick love or hate Suge if someone pull a gun on you and your life is on the line you cant be held accountable for accidental death that occurs during this situation that’s why they are listening in on phone conversations they know this case is not strong at all
