A separate Los Angeles Times report states that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is “investigating the hit-and-run as a homicide, not a traffic accident.”

Reportedly both Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were on hand for the film project but had already left the set when the incident occurred.
