Los Angeles, CA

Singer Keyshia Cole has been ordered by a judge to pay a significant amount of money to a woman she assaulted in 2014, according to TMZ.

Sabrina Mercadel, who says she was viciously attacked by the 36-year-old Oakland native at Birdman’s West Los Angeles condo, won a $100,635 judgement. She was originally seeking $4 million.

The incident reportedly went down after Cole showed up at the Cash Money Records CEO’s place in the middle of the night. The two were rumored to be dating at the time and Cole apparently suspected he was cheating. Once she found Mercadel at the condo, all hell broke lose and Cole attacked her.

Mercadel accused Cole of punching her in the face, pulling her hair and using her nails to claw her face and mouth. As a result, Mercadel said she lost the use of one of her fingers. Cole was arrested and spent the night in a Los Angeles jail but was released on $46,000 bail.
