Grab an umbrella, because the Weatherman’s ready to return in 2018.

After Evidence popped up earlier this year with the single “Throw It All Away,” the Dilated Peoples member has reemerged to announce a new album titled Weather Or Not.

He also shared a video for “Jim Dean,” a new single produced by Nottz and featuring cuts by DJ Babu.

Ev’s third solo LP and first since 2011’s Cats & Dogs is scheduled to drop on January 26, 2018, via Rhymesayers Entertainment. Fans last heard a full-length project from the West Coast veteran in 2014 when he released Lord Steppington, a collaborative album with Alchemist, and reassembled with Dilated Peoples for the group’s Directors Of Photography LP.

    1. Ev never disappoints. He’s been in the game for longer than most of these new cats been alive…and he keeps improving. He rides that balance between art and streets. A true child of hip hop.

    2. I remember a friend and I spoofed Alchemist’s and Evidence’s Far Left. He actually posted the youtube link somewhere on his twitter. It was so awesome. I appreciate artists that have a lot to offer the world and care about their craft AND also acknowledge their fans. Seems like a really cool dude.

    3. Evidence is not the greatest rapper from a technical standpoint, but his albums are always amazing. The weatherman LP is a classic (LetYourselfGo, Mr. Slow Flow, All Said and Done, Line of Scrimmage, Chase the Clouds, Hot & Cold), the Layover EP is underrated and amazing (the Far Left, Solitary Confinement, For whom the Bell Tolls), and that doesn’t even cover the classic catalog of Dilated Peoples. This is coming out on rhymeSayers, which is an underground powerhouse, so I’m really looking forward to it

      1. Expound on your assertion “not a great rapper from a technical standpoint “, not trolling asking seriously I’m interested to hear your reasons.

        1. You fell for the bait. Again. Nerd. Only a true fucknuts would think Ev is anywhere near Em lyrics wise. That’s a Vespa scooter playing chicken with an Abraham tank. Evidence can’t freestyle. He has a lame, slow, wannabe EPMD rhyme style. His beats are dope though.

    4. “The Weathermen was an American hip hop group, formed in 1999 in New York City, New York, composed of East Coast rappers and producers Aesop Rock, Tame One, Cage, Yak Ballz, El-P, and Breeze Brewin.”

      1. And both groups stole the name from white Marxist terrorists from the 1960s. He could have read that shit in a book or on Wikipedia. And then there’s a band that’s been putting out music under the name Weathermen since 1985…

          1. guess what i checked and ur rite weathermen was indeed jevvish-led then again anything marxist usually is so no surprise.

    5. I do not care of he is a better mc or Freestyle mc or criticly aclaimed. Who is better or not. Bs all the way. I care for dope beats, deep lyrics and thoughts. Also listen to how it is composed. And this is poetry in motion.
