Jordan Peele’s Next Thriller Gets Release Date

Following the history-making success of Jordan Peele’s directorial debut Get Out, Universal Pictures has officially set a release date for Peele’s next film — March 15, 2019. The untitled movie will serve as another social thriller, and the former Key & Peele star will lend his talents on all ends — writing, directing and producing the film, according to Deadline.

Earlier this month, Universal Studios signed Peele to a first-look overall production deal in conjunction with his Monkeypaw Productions company. The upcoming thriller is just one part of the freshly-inked contract. The actor-director will also produce several more films for Universal over the next two years.

Released in March 2017, Get Out became the highest-grossing debut film based on an original screenplay, bringing in more than $150 million at the U.S. box office in a matter of weeks. The film was released on Blu-Ray and On Demand Tuesday (May 23), and features an alternate ending.

      1. I didn’t find any news on the next Tarantino movie over at metalsucks.net, and if they did they would be accused of racism. But hiphopdx can do it and nobody accuses them of racism (excluding Jerome, who is retarded). The hypocrisy of liberals is disgusting!
