Paul McCartney was denied entry into Tyga‘s Grammy party yesterday (February 15), according to TMZ.
The singer was turned away at the door of the Argyle in Hollywood twice after trying to get into the party with Beck and Taylor Hawkins, drummer for the Foo Fighters.
“How VIP do we gotta get?” McCartney says after the door is closed in his face the first time. “We need another hit, guys. We need another hit. Work on it.”
“Next year,” someone in his entourage says.

Bow Wow was in attendance at the party and expresses disbelief when told McCartney was not let in.
“There’s no way,” he says.
Then, after talking with his friend, he reassesses the situation.

“Maybe it’s the fact that we’re younger than Paul and it’s the fact that it’s a new generation and we really club, we really go out,” Bow Wow says. “We go to Argyle, like this is a spot we go to. We’re familiar faces. They know us.”
At The Grammys, Kendrick Lamar took home five awards including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song.
