A judge has ruled in the lawsuit filed against The Game for punching an off-duty police officer, TMZ reports.

The Compton, California rapper is ordered to pay $100,000 to Onyebuhi Awaji for not responding to his civil suit. The Game reportedly never responded to the lawsuit and the judge awarded the money in default judgement.

The breakdown of the money is $60,000 for damages Awaji suffered when The Game punched him during a Pro-Am basketball game in March and $40,000 in punitive damages.

Awaji sued The Game in April, saying he suffered brain damage from the punch.

The criminal case is still underway. Last month, The Game pled not guilty to multiple charges stemming from the incident. He is scheduled to appear back in court January 11.
