No Malice Opines On What A Clipse Reunion Would Do To The Rap Scene

No Malice has repeatedly been asked about a Clipse reunion with his brother, Pusha T. The duo broke up after 2009’s Til The Casket DropsIn a recent interview with MTV, No Malice recalls his mind state making the album.

“I look at this as my album,” No Malice says. “That’s what I wanted to do for me, to get these things off my chest and make my exit… I didn’t think about the fans. I didn’t think about the listener. It was just how I was feeling. People tell me all the time that they can hear a transition on that album. And they really tell me that they heard that transition throughout my entire career of something taking place, but it just finally came to a head on this album.”

He also reflects on where new Clipse music would stand in the current music landscape.

“My brother and I together can make clown soup of all of these rappers,” he says. “That’s what I believe in my heart, but how can two walk together unless they agree?”

The Virginia Beach, Virginia rapper says that he and his brother are in different places in life and he is “not chasing or forcing” a reunion.

“That’s what I love about my brother and our relationship,” he says. “Those morals that my dad instilled in us…We don’t put opinions on each other. We don’t say, ‘Well, you should be doing this.’ We’re like, ‘Whatever you do, homie, we respect each other as men.’”

    1. You and your brother reuniting would be one of the forest things hip hop has seen in a long time..But if your brother isn’t able to keep Wayne’s name out of his mouth both of yaw would end up being clown soup

      1. It’s HIM ‘Pusha T’ been beefing with Wayne NOT his brother, & what does ‘be one of the FOREST things hip hop seen’ mean?!

      2. Lil who. Wayne was and will always b less than average. Pusha or the clipse will always be on a higher level than Wayne. Clipse we miss you

    2. The best thing about The Clipse last album was the dichotomy between the brothers. It was like 2 sides of the same coin, showing 2 different paths when can take or how one can view the world. I think they should do 1 more album.

      1. yah but it was nowhere near as good as hell hath no fury or lord willin. Hell Hath No fury is perfection…neptunes on every beat and the brothers in their finest form.

    3. I meant dopest….Stupid autocorrect gets me everytime…But I think Malice and Push are both exceptional artist in they own right, but every time Push drops a album he’s always gotta say something bout Wayne…If this trend happened to continue on a possible Clipse album it would tarnish they legacy is what I’m sayin..Its kinda lame..Make hits and he wouldn’t feel the need to speak on the next man for attention…Push ain’t seein Wayne
