TIDAL has announced that Jay Z will be hitting the stage in New York City May 13 to perform a variety of tracks that have never been performed or have not been performed live in more than a decade.

The concert is titled “Jay Z B-Sides” and is part of the music streaming service’s TIDAL X program. TIDAL X has been established to provide subscribes with unique experiences with artists.

On Sunday (April 26), Jay Z took to Twitter to defend the streaming service he acquired nearly one month ago.

“The iTunes Store wasn’t built in a day. It took Spotify 9 years to be successful. We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow and get better,”  he wrote.
