Elliott Wilson released the final installment of his CRWN interview with A$AP Rocky today (April 28).

Part two finds Rocky discussing his new movie (Dope), fashion, Kanye West and Mos Def, among other topics.

After asking the crowd to name an item of clothing he’s wearing, Rocky responds to a question concerning Kanye.

“He’s cool,” Rocky says. “I think that he [Kanye] had a rough time in the fashion industry. I think it’s all starting to pay off. Him and Pharrell paved the way for artists like myself. I would be full of shit if I didn’t say when I was 16 that I was inspired by Kanye West.

“Now, that I’m older I’m inspired by me, which is okay and other motherfuckers putting out dope art like Earl, Action Bronson, Danny Brown,” he continues.

Rocky also tells Wilson that Mos Def will be featured on his forthcoming album, At Long Last A$AP. One of Rocky’s monikers also apparently came from Mos Def.

“He’s Pretty Flocko the first,” Rocky says. “I had to get permission from him to use that name. We was definitely chopping it up out there, working on some jiggy shit…Two people I can definitely say got some crack for ya’ll coming up is Mos Def and Pusha T.”
