Hours after Kanye West made an appearance on Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club (February 20), the New York City radio station’s morning show rivals at Hot 97 have responded to some of the Chicago rapper-producer’s comments.
Angela Yee asked Kanye if he felt compelled to speak on Amber Rose’s recent feud with his wife’s – Kim Kardashian West – family.
“If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her, “West replied, “there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose.
“I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim,” he added.

The comment, among others, has spawned the hashtag #YeezusReturns.
Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg responded to Kanye’s comments regarding Rose.
“I am a huge Kanye West fan,” he says. “He’s one of the best to ever do it. Love him… I don’t think the route to do that is to trash someone you know you were in love with. I saw the Kanye West crying tour. He went from stadium-to-stadium and he would do a rant about how much he loved Amber. He cried at The Garden like a sad Knicks fan.”
Rosenberg also stated that he felt like Kanye didn’t credit Amber for inspiring his personal favorite album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

“Amber left Kanye,” Rosenberg says. “That’s a fact. We’re not going to forget that just because you said a funny one-liner, that you didn’t actually love Amber Rose and that she’s not one of the realest chicks in life.”
