      1. what numbers? its on cable so of course some fat losers are gonna watch it, especially in the dead of winter. its not even a top 5 show right now if you check “the numbers”. judje judy and wheel of fortune bring in the same viewers everyday

      2. Empire is in the top 10 of the Nielsen Ratings (ahead of Scandal) so if you are not a part of this, at least you got to witness…bitches.

      3. The producers are telling a story about a family, not a whole race of people. A whole race of people can’t have just one story or the same story, so I don’t understand what you are seeing. Besides, in my very humble opinion, hip hop is not a big part of the show. People can say that it is, but the most important thing about the show is the Lyons family.

      1. Last week Empire was the number one scripted show among 18 to 49 year olds and 18-35 year olds, so no, it’s not just teens who are watching the show.

    1. Killa Cam, Fox is not a cable network. I do believe you may be confusing the Fox broadcast network channel with either the Fox news channel or one of the other Rupert Murdoch owned cable channels. You may want to do a lot bit of research. Empire is a top five show. It is the top rated drama on broadcast television Last week Empire was the third highest rated show, only coming in behind the Oscars and the Oscar’s red carpet show. The only drama that does better than Empire is the Walking Dead, which does air on a cable channel. The syndicated shows that you mention do not draw as many viewers as Empire, or have ratings anywhere near Empire. Again, a good place for you to do your research is tvbythenumbers.

    2. Empire is one of the best shows of my generation I can easily say. Despite the drama and the confusion — unasked and unanswered questions that occur, it is also so fricken deep. The show has such amazing actors and structure and emotional content and music that keeps people biting their nails anticipating what is going to happen next – eagerly and impatiently awaiting the reveal to dirty secrets and the reunion of silent love. That is how I view the series. I look beyond its luxury and its never-ending drama. It’s inspiring, really.

    3. everyone is not going to be happy with everything the next person is doing. there is always going to be hatters, they are doing their job which is TO HATE so what we(EMPIRE) needs to so is KEEP BEING GREAT. this show is A1 i love it
