Kid Ink stopped by Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club today (January 23) to discuss a variety of topics, including his sophomore album, Full Speed, working with Lil Wayne, R. Kelly and navigating through the Hip Hop scene.

The Los Angeles rapper told the comedic crew he was supposed to be on Lil Wayne’s recent “Sorry 4 The Wait” mixtape. Weezy recently tweeted that he enjoyed Kid Ink’s “Hot Boy” record.

Although, Kid Ink hasn’t downloaded “Sorry 4 The Wait 2” yet, he was excited to receive the shout-out.

“That was first acknowledgement [and] time ever talking to Weezy  and getting any type of respect from that side of things. So it was dope to really see that… It’s not like it’s a record that’s spinning everywhere so for him to here it, I appreciate it.”
