During an interview with HipHopDX, Gillie Da Kid addressed his roller coaster relationship with Cash Money Records.

“Me and Wayne cool right now,”the Philadelphia-bred emcee says during an interview that premiered in DX Daily yesterday (December 11). “Me and Baby cool. I bumped into Stunna down at KOD. He wished me the best. He said he see what I got going on. For me, once it’s let go, it’s let go. It’s about what I’m doing now.”

Gillie worked with Cash Money for several years before things went sour with the label. His memorable feud with Lil Wayne spawned a slew of diss tracks.

Last year, Gillie mentioned that he made amends with another former Cash Money member Mannie Fresh. The two have been working together and Gillie says he has some desirable music on the way.

“Right now, I got an asshole full of records that these artists would cut their fuckin’ pinky finger off for,” Gillie says.
