Puff Daddy recently delivered a speech to his REVOLT TV staff during the company’s holiday party in Los Angeles.

REVOLT has reached the one-year milestone and Puff seemed more than pleased with his staff.

“The dream has just started,” he says within the clip, which appeared in the DX Daily yesterday. “Our first year has been a tremendous success if you look at the history of just brands in general. My dream of this network …  most importantly this brand, because it’s not just a network was to be a part of the change through music, through culture, through our relationships with all communities, to be disruptive, to be fresh, to be new, to be able to push the envelope, to be able to embrace artists, to put people on, to be able to put young executives on, young creatives on getting them a chance for people to listen to them, so they can change the world.”

In addition to its prominent music coverage, REVOLT has served as an outlet for the young generation to voice their opinions on social issues. REVOLT was on the frontlines in Ferguson, Missouri during the uprising that occurred after the death of Michael Brown.

“This is a very reflective time,” Puff says. “A time that is impossible to not count your blessings. There’s a lot going on in the world and to me it’s no coincidence that the name of this company is called REVOLT. Right now, we are in a cultural revolution. We are in a very important time.”

After his speech, the chairman stuck around to take pictures with the entire REVOLT staff.
