      1. well he is.. wait for it.. “childish” gambino! ba dum tss. thank you thank you. yes i will accept your handjob 🙂

    1. all label deals are the same unless you’re a huge name. You’re an actor right? How about reading that big ass script that they had you sign as a label deal.

    2. He is honest with himself. Can’t say that about many of the rappers out there. Too many plastics out there and you all eating it up. Be a suckafree.

      1. Apparently someone does. I believe he sold more than the latest albums from French Montana, Tyga, Ace Hood, DJ Khaled to name a few!

      2. That’s great if you want to compare yourself to booty ass rappers that no one will remember in 10 years.

      3. some of them booty as rappers got platinum singles. all i was saying is that hes outselling them so to say “nobody wants to hear your album” is completely untrue.

    3. i can’t figure out why i don’t like this guy more.
he has decent verses and clever lyrics at times
the songs are usually forgettable and good for one listen only.
I guess he needs to suffer through some grow man shit and get realistic or something.
Comin from a rich family being an actor and all is probably the issue.
I understand you want to be a rapper but why what do you really have to say to contribute to this world besides cute shit..
I like to listen to artists that had to struggle to get a deal not whining to get out.
Daddy will get u out your deal homie.

      1. Not sure if you’re a troll or not but hopefully this will enlighten others who haven’t delved deep into his work.

He actually grew up poor, because you probably haven’t listened to his projects you wouldn’t know but across Camp, Royalty, BTI, he tells his story growing up in hood with many brothers and sisters. He didn’t get rich until later, I actually think he contributes alot to this world because he comes from the same eastside ATL streets as CyHi the Prince, Gucci, Future, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug and the other EA rappers on top of the charts. His story is different though, because not everybody from that same struggle surcomes to their environment and ends up trapping.

But I do agree he has some very weird shyt in his projects but thats part of the person, I don’t like all his songs, but I definitely respect him and understand what makes him what he is.

I hope to god you dont listen to Rik Rozz

      3. “My music goes hard, bang shit like gay penises” Childish Gambino said that line. That’s why I don’t like him.

      4. does it remind you too much of your childhood?

“money and blood don’t mix like two dicks, find yourself in serious shit”

Biggie said that one, do you listen to him?

      5. Goes to show you know absoulutely nothing about Gambino he is one of the realest artists ever you must of just listened to Because The Internet and started assuming shit suck a dick

    4. This dudes album should have been titled “Because Community”. Don’t try to act like you are some random internet sensation. Nobody heard of Childish Gambino before you were already famous as Donald Glover. You’re a dweeb with corny lines and annoying more often than entertaining. Suck a dick.

      1. so what,

no one ever heard of Drake before Degrassi. does it take away from his music?

I like to watch Community but I never bought a Childish Gambino album or even downloaded one.

      2. “ya, but no one ever heard of Degrassi before Drake either so their even.”

Yeah sure, it was only one of the biggest teen drama’s in Canada that was broadcast all around the world.

      3. You must have never heard of Derricks Comedy or his writing for 30 Rock. Judging by your comment you are new here, as in the internet. Goodbye.

    5. haha. when will these artists ever learn?? if youre nor prepared to be a slave, dont sign to a corporation/label. its not that complicated

shout out to indie artists grindin

    6. Could take a few tips from Uncle Chance, and own ya own. Let’s be real, Chance the Rapper did this with NO sitcom residuals. You might wanna try and do the same if creative control is what you want more than dollars. If its a close decision between dollars and creativity – then you already have your answer and just need to let all that wishlist ish go.

    7. That song is acutally dope as fuck! Didn’t know what to think of it at first (not much of a Gambino listener) but this song has really dope lyrics the content is hot when you listen close.
