Slum Village died with Dilla and Baatin, even Elzhi dipped out because T3 was shittin’ him on the money and shit. Remember when Elzhi wasn’t featured in that one video from Villa Manifesto?
T3 treating SV like it’s Menudo, switching members around and shit
LOL @ Menudo, Slum Village is over with…
Tbh slum village started going downhill the second J dilla left, when that happened they just became another forgettable group that only Kanye could save (slum vill – selfish ft Kanye)
Slum is def still nice, just different. The first Dirty Slums tape was nice, and so far the 2 tracks they dropped from this is on point. I’ll download.
To me personally, slum village is Dilla, Baatin and T3 period. I felt Elzhi was so lyrically superior to them that he didn’t fit in and that he was better off as a solo artist.
The last one was classic. This sound damn good so far. sV
“Good Music is Painful to a Hater!!”
Bet this is dope. Going to check it out.
They should just do a member swap. Put Big Pooh in Slum Village and put Elzhi with Phonte in a new version of Little Brother. It’s like a NBA trade that works for both sides…right?
