HipHopDX is proud to announce our first guest editor of 2012. Sean Price of Heltah Skeltah, Random Axe and Boot Camp Clik fame will be calling some shots beginning October 29 through November 2, 2012. The features will coincide with Sean’s third solo album, Mic Tyson, releasing October 30 on Duck Down Music.
Earlier this week, Duck Down caught Sean, who made the formal announcement on video:
“I’m here. I”m takin’ over HipHopDX,” he said with trademark sarcasm. “I’m gonna be like the editor…some fake fuckin’ editor for a week. They got me doin’ Editorial stuff. But then again, [Duck Down Music’s] NoHa said, ‘Hey man, you gotta let ’em know. You’re gonna be there, you’re gonna be fuckin’ takin’ over their fuckin’ Twitter. You let ’em know it’s Sean Price-time. So it’s Sean Price-time on the HipHopDX!”

Sean has personally interviewed several hand-selected Hip Hop peers that he wanted to speak to. The emcee formerly known as Ruck also compiled a list of his favorite albums, some Throwback Thursdays, and even will liberate a few exclusives from Mic Tyson.
Last August, Game guest-edited HipHopDX for one week. He produced interviews with Kendrick Lamar, Boi-1da, Lex Luger, Mars of 1500 Or Nuthin’ and Kid Red.
